On this weeks instalment of Know the Pro, Terry laces up his cleats as he takes on Kitchener Panthers 2nd basemen Trevor Nyp. Not only does Trevor play for the Panthers, he also spent one-year playing baseball in the NCAA at Oakton College in Chicago and won the OUA championship with the Laurier Golden Hawks.

|In the past, baseball players from Waterloo Region had few options for training. They resorted to using substandard indoor facilities that weren't designed for baseball. Fortunately, Playball Academy Canada in Kitchener has completely changed the baseball landscape in the region. |Panthers Use Playball Academy Canada in the Off Season|

This year, the team is holding weekly practices at Playball Canada's new baseball facility in Kitchener, in kind of an indoor spring training that will extend until May.
Some players say that will help them start the season in better form.
"With this facility, there's no excuse for myself and the other players to not be ready," said Tanner Nivins, the team's 23 year-old centrefielder. "I'd like to get off to a better start." Continued...
